Sinead Cole

Sinead Cole

My name is Sinead Cole and I am a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel parish. I just completed my freshman year at Villa Joseph Marie High school. I am the youngest of seven children and I am also an aunt to my nephew Luke. I play lacrosse and field hockey for Villa and enjoy running in my free time. I work at Rita’s Water Ice and enjoy getting together with friends. I am involved in a Kensington ministry and I am also a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe youth group, where we participate in various community events. I also love to visit my aunts and uncles in Ireland once a year and catch up with my cousins.

Mairead McGinley

Mairead McGinley

Mairead McGinley is the oldest of four children, and there is nothing she enjoys more than being with her big Irish, Catholic family, especially her cousins. Mairead just finished her second year at Villa Joseph Marie High School where she earned high honors. She was inducted into the National Honor Society this year, and she holds a leadership position in the Ministry Team and the Pro-Life Club. Mairead sings in her school’s choral ensemble. She is an active member of many clubs, including: Athletes Helping Athletes, the Diamond Key Club, and Community Service Corp. Mairead plays tennis and runs track for Villa. She has been a Girl Scout with Troop 2122 since 2013. She also organizes the Saint Andrew soccer teams’ snack orders for the C.Y.O. Snack Shack during the fall season. On most Sundays you can find Mairead altar serving at Saint Andrew Church.

My name is Cian Mullen , I am 14 years old. I was born in Boston Ma, and I have lived in Bristol Borough since I was three. I attended St . Mark and I will be attending Conwell- Egan Catholic High School. My main interest is soccer, I have played travel since I was five . I also like to ride bikes, hang with my friends and travel as much as possible. My goal is to see every state, along with international travel . I enjoy going to Ireland to visit family, and uphold my family traditions.

2023 Winner of the
Division's Special Casey - Burns Scholarship

Katherine Myers is a resident of Newtown, PA. She will be studying next year at Villa Joseph Marie High School. Her interests include community service, chorus, art, basketball, and many more! Most notably, she has led a diaper and wipes drive at her school for the past three years to assist Catholic Social Services in Levittown, PA. She has strong Irish roots thanks to each of her grandmothers.

My name is Kayleigh O'Shea and I am sophomore at Villa Joseph Marie High School. I have three younger siblings, Brenna, Jamieson and Kieran and a dog named Holly. At Villa, I am a part of CSC (Community Service Corps), AHA (Athletes Helping Athletes) and Diamond Key Club. I play volleyball and basketball at Villa and during the spring I also played CYO volleyball for St. Andrews. In my free time, I love baking, painting and playing with my dog.

My name is Keira Previti and I am finishing 10th grade at Archbishop Wood High School. I live in Willow Grove with my mom, dad, and younger sister. I was a sideline cheerleader for Wood this past year, my favorite subject is math, and I am working as a lifeguard this summer.

John Stefano

John Stefano

John Michael Stefano of Newtown, PA is a recent graduate of St. Andrew Catholic School and he will be attending Holy Ghost Preparatory School this fall. In addition to being an avid lacrosse fan and player, John also intends to take up rowing at HGP. John is Star ranked Boy Scout and is working towards his goal of becoming an Eagle Scout and fulfilling his dream of acceptance at the United States Naval Academy and serving his country (if the University of Notre Dame doesn't work out). John is grateful that the AOH Scholarship process presented him with an opportunity to learn more about his Irish heritage from the stories shared by his mother and grandparents.
